Can't acces wp-admin page
-
I am currently logged in my wordpress account. However, when I go to the wp-admin page, I have to log in again. When I try to log in with the same username and password as the wordpress account, the system says that the username and password are incorrect. Can somebody help? Maybe I am missing something…

this is the website I’m working on. It’s an old website from 2014 that hasn’t been update or whatsoever. I wanted to do a complete makeover to make the site up to date again.

Hi there, It looks like your site is using the standalone version of the WordPress software. If you’ve installed the jetpack plugin and connected it to your WordPress.com account, that allows you to manage your WP site from the WordPress.com dashboard when you log in to WordPress.com.
However, if you go directly to WP-Admin on your site and try to log in there, that is expecting your site username and password for log in. If you need to reset your password, please check out the documentation at https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password If you need further help with this, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are having.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.). Best wishes
