Can’t access account/domain

  I purchased this site in March 2022 using my gmail.com email address. It was renewed on Feb 15 2023 (i have the transaction number).

  When I tried to log in to WordPress today using my email address the website said there is not account associated with this email.

  When I used the recover access form and included my gmail address, it created a new account associated with that gmail address.

  When I used the recover access form and checked the box that I don’t know the email address associated with the site, it told me to use the email address (that I had just said I don’t know) to get access.

  This feels like a scam. How do I get access to my WordPress account or my money back?

  If you have the transaction ID, the best option is to submit the account recovery form and send the transaction ID to our account recovery team. They will get back to you via email to help you log into the correct WordPress.com account.
