Can’t access blog

  My son had a blog while in Africa. He is in China now and wants to use the same one, but forgot his password and doesn’t use the same email account anymore so can’t get his password changed or emailed to him. Is there anything he can do to get access to it again or is he stuck?

  If you’re not able to recall the password to your desired account, you can reset it by following this link: https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  If you cannot recall the email address or username as well, then you can fill in the Account Recovery form by visiting this link https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery. On this form, you need to provide information in order to prove the ownership of the account. Someone from the staff will then contact you with a response.

  PS – I believe the email he used was (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  It’s neither of the addresses you mentioned. The username though is ryanthegreatblog — have you tried a password reset with that?

  Also, if the email on the account no longer works, could he check in with the old mail provider to see if they will hook the old email address back up for him?
