Can't access blog due to 2 step auth issues!

Hi there,
My flatmate set up a blog at foodandotherlove.wordpress.com. She set up the two step authentication, but then logged out of the account AND deleted the google authentication app. So now she’s essentially locked out of everything and we’re not sure what to do. The google auth app is asking for the key, which I assume is the api key, but we can’t access that as she can’t get into her wordpress account. A bit of a catch 22 kinda situation… Would really appreciate any help or feedback :)

@beccacaddy, I sent an email to the address on file for your account on May 6 at 5:31 PM. The email had the subject “re: Can’t access blog due to 2 step auth issues!”. Did you receive this email? If not, could you please check your Spam folder to make sure it did not accidentally end up there?
If you did receive the email, I have not yet received your response. If you did respond, could you double check that it was actually sent? Sometimes a response can be left in a drafts folder.
Please let me know if there’s anything else that I can do to help.

Yes you did, thanks. But in the email you told me to get my flatmate to contact you and she did three times and hasn’t heard anything since. Her name is Cara Isaacs. It’s because the account is hers, I’ve just posted here because she obviously can’t get into her account to post.

Yeah I know, thanks. Support sent me instructions in an email and told me the account holder needs to send their email address and details to them. The account holder followed all of those instructions, sent the right subject line, etc and we still haven’t heard anything. We’ve done that about 5 times now.

For any moderators looking, email address is: (email visible only to moderators and staff), she’s sent about 5 emails about this issue to the address that she was told to.

That’s fine. Staff can see the [email redacted] stuff whereas other people cannot. It’s very handy.
