Can’t access class blog – website replaces my typed URL with homepage URL!
-
Quick rundown:
I type the URL of my class blog into my browser (happens on IE and Firefox): http://www.thepoetslizard.wordpress.com -OR- http://thepoetslizard.wordpress.com.
It prompts me for username/password. I enter my creds and it lets me in fine, BUT …
the URL is immediately replaced with “http://wordpress.com” and the site dumps me to the main homepage of the whole site. I can’t access the blog I’m trying to get to, logged in or no.
I searched the forum for similar problems, but didn’t see anything.
Can anyone help?

It sounds like that’s a private blog to which you haven’t yet been invited by the administrator. They’ve not only password-protected it, but ALSO made it invitation-only. The administrator of that blog has to invite you as a user.

This is happening to me as well. I had been following: jwalktheworld.wordpress.com
and all of a sudden RIGHT WHEN I WAS VIEWING THE BLOG it took me to this homepage and made me “register” I still cant find the blog—why isnt there any kind of list I could search for this? all search windows turn up blank what gives? -
