can't access dashboard – ' no data received'

  Hello everyone,

  I’m having difficulty accessing my website dashboard. Everytime I try, I get a blank page saying ‘ non data received’. This sometimes happens when I click on one of my posts or pages.

  What’s happening here? I pay good money for this site and I’d rather this sort of thing…not happen.

  I just checked your site and it seems to be working from my end (Canberra, Australia).

  It could be WordPress.com servers, but when this happens to me I like to use a tool like this to troubleshoot further: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

  Can’t hurt to get two opinions either: http://viewdns.info/ismysitedown/

  I can imagine this would be really frustrating, if those tools verify that your site is working, perhaps it could be your browser, perhaps try clearing the cache and any saved data.

  Almost certainly it is a problem with your ISP (internet service provider).

  just a curious thought, would using a Virtual Private Server that rerouted your own internet connection to go from Britain to Australia back to helencalcutt.org would that fix her problem if it in fact was the ISP issue?

  @suddenrainfall: Please read the article I linked you. There are widespread problems with people of UK can’t access dashboard.

  To clear the cache and troubleshoot other browser issues check out this help article http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  As galois said, there are wide spread issues with Internet Providers in the UK, the article he linked to basically says that people in the UK may not be able to view websites hosted with WordPress.com, but those websites can still be visited by people from other countries.
