If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(1) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
(2) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(3) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(4) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
If you are not successful let us know:
(a) How you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ -

Are you able to access the links below? If not, what do you exactly see when going to these links.

In firefox I get “Problem Loading Page” ” Connection Was Reset” and in IE I get “This apge cant be displayed”.
I have cleaned the browsers, cleared cookies, reset both browsers to default and without plugins.
This isn’t a local pc issue as I know of others that are having the same issue.

I have also now tried this in Safari and am getting the same issues, this is getting beyond a joke now!
-
if you are on Talk Talk as your internet provider there is an issue, and I have reported this via my company, since we partner with them.
-
Thanks for the heads up Comyne, yes I am with TalkTalk.
Could you keep me updated if/when they get back to you please, I will also contact them myself.
Thanks again

I am having the same problem with all 3 of my sites (reported yesterday). No dashboard. I can however access posts and stats by going through the reader. But anything I post that way does not appear in the reader or emails to followers, or in “my activity” on the reader. I don’t fully buy in to the TalkTalk piece as I have the same problem on my phone when not on wireless.

I dont think it’s down to talktalk either, I have tried on a friends connection and it’s the same, had this problem for four days now, seriously thinking of moving my blogs back to blogger, thought wordpress was better… boy was I wrong!!!!
-
I have gone out to a local coffee shop and everything works fine on their wifi. Worth persevering with other connections until WordPress sort this out. I have also had the problem for 4 days and pretty fed up with it.

@kcpcrepair
There are 36 million WordPress.com bloggers and only a small handful are having such issues. However, I do wish you all the best whatever you decide to do.I have gone out to a local coffee shop and everything works fine on their wifi.
Thanks for that valuable additional information for Staff.
