Can't access friend's blog

I was invited and got an acceptance message with a link to the blog, but I enter my password and still don’t get in.

You do have access to the Private blog, but the post is also password-protected.
You’ll need to ask the blog’s owner for that post’s password.

Friend said the blog wasn’t password protected, just the one entry that I am directed to when I try to go to the blog from the link she sent me. I’m evidently not being directed to the right page, but I don’t know how to get to the right page (start page?).
