can’t access into my web site to make changes

    Hello! I’ve had my business web site up for years, but it’s time to change it up (I moved!). However, I can’t get access to it. Not sure what’s going on?

    Hi there:

    To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    If you don’t remember your password, you can use the “Lost your password” link there to reset it.

    If you don’t recall what your login is, you would need to contact your host GoDaddy for help. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you reset your login password and regain access to your site.
