can’t access live chat
-
Hi there,
I would like to know if someone had the same problem and was able to fix it:
I can’t access live chat on wordpress.com.
Background facts:
I am using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. In the settings I put ‘mywebsite.wordpress.com’ (‘mywebsite’ is a placeholder for the website I am running) as an exception for cookies, I also used the custom option and enabled all cookies (as a try), but it does not work either way, even thought this is what I was told to do in order to fix the problem. ‘Enable third-party cookies’. – And this does not seem to be the problem anyway, because on the wordpress website section which checks if third party cookies are allowed in my browser, it says that they are allowed/enabled.
Yet, I can’t access live chat.
Additonal information:
I have got a business plan.
My system is a linux ubuntu.
I am using Nordvpn. Can anyone help? Thank you very much!

Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you have had issues accessing live chat. It can sometimes be the case that live chat is not available (if there are no agents) so I’d like to rule that out. Can you tell us more about the trouble you have been having? What is the URL of the page you are on when you access help, and what are you clicking to locate the chat option? Are you seeing error messages or any other odd behavior?
Also are you able to see the chat option if you click “Contact Support” button on this page? https://wordpress.com/help/
If you are not able to access chat there, what if you try accessing your WordPress.com account using a Private Window in Firefox? Do you have an alternate browser you can try as a test, such as Google Chrome?
Thanks for the additional info!
