Can’t access live chat support or get help via email

Hi all,
Happy New Year!
I can’t get in touch with live chat support like before. It either tells me that I need to enable third-parties cookies, which it then tells I have done successfully. But then asks me to do it again. Or it says that live chat isn’t available “right now”, which implies that it’s a temporary issue. But then it seems to be always the case.
So, I sent an email, but the response is that I’m supposed to “rest assured” that my email has been received. But then we don’t move past the resting and feeling assured part, and get to the actual support part.
Is anyone else having trouble getting support? Has something changed, or is there another way to access support that I’m not aware of?
Any info. or advice on this would be appreciated.

Hey there,
Please try connecting with chat using an incognito/private browsing window. While chat is sometimes unavailable (this happens when all of our Happiness Engineers are assisting other users), you should be able to connect with chat when it is available. It sounds like there may be a browser issue preventing the chat from connecting. Using an incognito/private browsing window will help us check if this is causing the issue.
I was also able to confirm that we have received your email, we answer these in the order they were received and will respond as soon as we are able. You can also share the details here and we will be happy to assist you in the forums.

Thanks for getting back to me!
I tried using an incognito/private browsing window in Firefox, and also tried it with Google, and it didn’t resolve the issue.
In the meanwhile, I’m relieved to know that I can contact you guys here, if need be.
You guys are the best. I’m glad to hear that WordPress hasn’t done away with Contact Support. I was getting worried that WP had decided that support wasn’t a priority anymore. Phew! Glad that isn’t the case.
