Can’t access my account!
-
I’ve tried accessing my account to manage my 3
sites but am being told I have no account. However, we’ve had those websites under WordPress since 2008 & 2009. I’ve tried all my email addresses we could have used and have found no communication from WordPress recently. I’m sure we had a free account, and I’m happy to pay for a paid plan but really need to find my existing websites! They are my historical archive sites and I am not (meaning never been) the webmaster. I am a complete novice and need help.
Suggestions to get connected directly with a WordPress employee to connect me with my account? Thanks!

Appreciate your response. Not sure you can help from outside of WordPress but here’s the info you asked for:
http://www.senlindanewell.com/ is the main one. The others point to that content.
Others — I can’t share the links because now they are all showing this message: Linda4senate.com and Senatorlindanewell.com
Auto message when enter in site name:
This page isn’t working
http://www.senlindanewell.com redirected you too many times.

It just looks like something on WordPress side has disconnected from my sites. And WordPress auto messages are saying there is no account. And I can’t get hold of anyone from WordPress so they can find my longstanding account. Very frustrating.
Thanks.

As those three domains were registered at (and have nameservers for) GoDaddy then I think you should reach out to them. But first if you are not the “webmaster” do you know who has the log in details and could you ask whoever has to get those and domains/sites transferred to you.
This forum is only for free sites hosted at WordPress.com. The account you are using here has no connection with your sites. The correct place for wordpress support for your sites is https://wordpress.org/support/welcome/ but you do need to be able to log in to the backends of them if there are any faults that need rectifying.

Thanks for your response. I’ve already reached out to GoDaddy and they say they I need to check in with WordPress since the content lives on WordPress. I have the log in details and have tried logging in and get the above message that I don’t have an account. (Which is weird because these sites have been live for years.)
Thanks for the link. I’ve tried so many and been directed various places but don’t think I’ve seen that one yet. I’ll try it. I think we’ve been on WordPress.org because I’ve been paying annually to GoDaddy for domain name. I just need to have someone from WordPress to get access into my site history so I can get all that content back. For a novice, this is exasperating. Thanks.

OK, I just went to the Site Profiler and found this when I entered one of my sites. Does this mean WordPress transferred my sites over to Amazon?? And if so, what do I do to retrieve my content and get back on WordPress? Thanks.

This is what I see on a Whois. Using the wordpress software on a site isn’t the same thing as having a site hosted at WordPress.com. I see your domain being hosted at GoDaddy so you need to get the log in details and log in there.

Thank you for your patience with a novice like me. I am not a techie at all.
I’m not sure what a Whois is, but yes, I pay annually for my domain name with GoDaddy. I did reach out to them and they confirmed they provide my domain but not the site. They’ve never hosted my site.
It’s always been a free site with WordPress. In looking around at the articles, I’m wondering if we’ve been “self-hosted” so would I go to WordPress. ORG instead of .COM? And how can I get hold of anyone there to help me recover my site?
Thanks again for your kindness.
