can't access my back end

When I try to enter my website backend an error message comes up saying: ‘Error establishing database connection’.

Furthermore, when I enter my domain name ‘clarinabezzola.com’ into the browser search bar to access the front end, the same error message comes up. No access to the website front end either! Only when I enter the domain name into the Google search bar and then click on the google link which comes up I am able to access my website front end.

Also, when I try to enter the wordpress company website to access my account settings most times I don’t get through. After I changed my password three times I managed to get in.

But in terms of my backend I don’t manage to get access at all!

    Hi there clarinabezzola,

It sounds like you are using a self-hosted WordPress.org application and your hosting provider is having database connectivity issues. That type of issue is generally due to a change on the wp-config.php file. This forum however, is for WordPress.com sites only. For self-hosted sites, you should check out the Codex.WordPress.org forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/

If you are using WordPress.com, can you provide the URL of your blog for us to look at?

    Hope this helps!

    ~Jess
