Can't Access My Blog
-
I hired a web design company to set up and manage a Blog for me years ago. I have since fired them. With that being said, I have no idea what my log in credentials are! If I go to my Blog posts, I can easily find the user name they created. However, when I go to the “Forgot Password?” screen, I enter my username, only to be prompted an email has been sent out to the creator of the Blog. Here’s where my problem is – I don’t know who the creator is/was. I’ve contacted the web design company, and they assure me it’s none of their email addresses (and I do believe them). They have a high turnover rate, so it could be any past employee’s real email or fake email they used to create it.
After this dilemma, I proceeded to the Account Recovery Form. This would be fantastic if it didn’t ask for proof of Blog ownership by Transaction ID, etc… as I’ve mentioned, I’ve never set it up or accessed it. I can’t submit that form without selecting (and entering) the info they are asking to prove Blog ownership.
What are my other options? I have no problem providing an EIN number to prove the Blog belongs to my business.

Hi there,
What’s your blog’s address? I need to verify that your blog is hosted here on WordPress.com.
Thanks!

I have a similar problem my primary email is an old one which no longer exists. I have tried the recovery form but it is telling me the transaction ID is not valid, but I am cut and pasting it from PayPal. Any ideas?
