Can’t access my blog

    Been struggling with my blog literally for years. Created the blog over 10 years ago. And something happened where one day i could no longer log in to post or update. I sought help from tech support and could not get in, I finally would give up, only to try again at different points in time. I am persistent and I can not log in but I am told when I log in that I can’t access the dashboard to make changes, etc yet as I see it, I am in the dashboard but the site doesn’t show any options. all my profile info, account settings, security etc is there but it says there is no site yet I can type in the url and the site is up. I am really at a loss for how to proceed if at all so…anyone that can tell me what the deal is, i’m all ears.

    You are logged in to wordpress.com as vanburenmark. That account doesn’t have a site running on the wordpress.com platform. Perhaps your blog is connected to another account or your site is using the open source wordpress.org? So what is the URL of your “missing” site?

    It does have a site running and has been running for almost 10 years. the url is markvanburen.wordpress.com.

    Hi there,

    The issue is that the site you’re trying to access belongs to a different user account to the one you’re currently logged into.

    This is why you’re seeing a message stating that you have no site.

    Please log out of the vanburenmark account, then try logging in by entering the username markvanburen.

    I have tried both ways, even reset the password. I can log in to wordpress but still shows not site, shows my profile, my avatar…everything but the site. So frustrated

    Please log in with the username markvanburen, then post a comment here in the forums.

    We can then check that you’re logged in to the right account – the username below your profile photo should say markvanburen:

    If you post here and see your username as vanburenmark, then you’re still logged in to the wrong account.
