I can’t login to my blog. http://www.paulsinternetsecurityblog.wordpress.com. Last night I added a blog for my granddaughter and suspect I may have hosed up the logon and password for my blog. I’m about to panic…please help. The blog for my granddaughter is http://www.bethanysquestionblog.wordpress.com. That blog’s logon is [password removed from public forum]. I thought my logon was [password removed from public forum] . Please help. Thanks.

auxclass, if this is the kind of help I can expect here…ridicule and caustic remarks, I don’t need your help.
ardpete, bethanysquestionblog.wordpress.com is operating and has been used today. It’s a “sub-blog” to my blog. I fear that’s where the problem lies with my sign-on. I thought I was entering signon information for her blog; not changing mine.
I requested a new password, but now it doesn’t like my username either. I was hoping I could get the username and password reset so I can get back to blogging.

That’s what comes up when I click on that address. I don’t know what you mean by sub-blog, we can’t have those at WordPress.Com.

By sub-blog I mean another blog owned by me, in addition to http://www.paulsinternetsecurityblog.wordpress.com. I’ve done it before, so that I could monitor her blog. It just dawned on me that I made her blog private. That’s why you can’t access it I guess? Thanks for your help, ardpete.

I see what you mean. But no the blog isn’t marked as private or it would say it’s been marked as such, I’m saying the URL you’ve provided hasn’t been registered, WordPress it self is saying it doesn’t exist, perhaps you’ve provided an incorrect address?

Okay, now try going to http://bethanysquestioncorner.wordpress.com/wp-login using the login details you have for that blog then change the password as you’ve stated them in this public forum.

And user name of course, both blogs will be under the bethanylubic user name and therefore that will also need changing.

All blogs will be under the same user name, so if you’re wanting your grandaughter to have her own user name, she can register an account without having to register a blog then you can invite her to become an author/administrator on your own blog.
