Can't access my dashboard or support forums.

I can’t access my dashboard of my blog or the support forums. I’ve tried to access them via chrome on my laptop and safari on my ipad, same issue on both. What is wrong with my account?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have had exactly the same problem. I upgraded and bought a new domain name and now can’t access my dashboard on my ipad or iphone.

I have already cleared the history and cache. As far as I am aware I have no problems on my computer.

My ipad and iphone are using Safari.

    My blog is suzie81speaks.com

Have you tried a different browser? If you have, and that one also cannot open the blog, perhaps you don’t have cookies enabled?

From the number of reports we’re getting, it sounds like some ISPs have banned or blocked parts of WP.com including image servers. What ISP are you using, if you don’t mind me asking?

Would you happen to be in England? We have had lots of reports of this kind of thing from there before.

Hi I am having the same problem. I am in England and can’t get any of wordpress to load through Firefox or on my ipad. It is loading in Safari but very slowly…what is happening?

  • Unknown's avatar

Same for me – I can see the Reader, but I can’t get to my blog, or the forums, on my iPad or in Firefox. Then I changed to Safari, and that is working, so I’m able to send this message.

I’m also in the UK and my blog is distantdrumlin.wordpress.com.

In the uk. Like you I can’t see either my blog or my dashboard – ‘This webpage is not available’

Yesterday I could visit the blog and see the dashboard but got this message when I tried to upload a new post bi=ut today – nothing.

Weird just tried in Safari – working.

    WordPress – Chrome problem?

  • Unknown's avatar

Not just Chrome; Firefox also not working

  • Unknown's avatar

Okay, this sounds like an ISP problem. Please contact your internet service provider and tell them what you told me. Give them the link to this thread if it helps.

This happened before because of some over-zealous porn blocking by ISPs to comply with the new regulations. Basically if ONE site on all of WP.com was too racy, the whole thing, or at least the image servers, got blocked. Ask your ISP to check this and be sure to specify it’s WordPress.COM that you are talking about.

I’m also having difficulty getting into my dashboards. I was blocked on Firefox and when I did a check it said it was ‘just me.’ Then I tried Chrome and it worked but something about Google Author wouldn’t let me link without aggro. Now I’m in Safari, and so far so good….. Tried support and it said they were away until Thursday. I have tried some new things lately AND I am very much a novice, so it could be my errors. Would love to hear any solutions. BTW, I can load ALL other websites, email, etc.

Many many thanks Kardotim for that post. Egads, it’s good to know I can stop with the cache clearing, etc. I am also in England and a BT customer. Can we just wait this out or do we need to take action?

  • Unknown's avatar

We can’t access our dashboard either – been unable to get on to our blog since yesterday. We are in the UK.

  • Unknown's avatar

Same problem, also in the UK, using Firefox. Works ok with Safari and on my iPad. My ISP is BT

  • Unknown's avatar

Exactly the same for me too- ISP is BT. As Cannmcgee says- is there action to take or do we need to wait it out?

    Thanks

  • Unknown's avatar

I contacted BT and they were useless. Denied it could possibly be a problem relating to them and suggested it was my Firefox settings!

Hello, I am in USA, I can’t access my blog from yesterday. My website is
http://nytta.us/, I tried to open it using different browsers and asked my friends from other states to open it. but it is not working. Many Thanks.

I contacted BT through Chat line and I forwarded the clips of the previous filter issues that were described in December. After two CS reps I let the chat window lapse. No joy with them . However, I do wonder if there is in fact a Firefox and Chrome commonality as *I *can* get through on my Safari. Not at all on Firefox and partially on Chrome.

  • Unknown's avatar

Could it be that Safari has cached css from when it did work?

  • Unknown's avatar

I just got off an unhelpful help chat with BT- they said they don’t block websites, and said I must have downloaded something that is blocking it (I haven’t). As annoying and unhelpful as he was I think maybe he was right that it is a WordPress problem.

I do wonder if there is in fact a Firefox and Chrome commonality as *I *can* get through on my Safari. Not at all on Firefox and partially on Chrome.

    I’m wondering the same.
If it helps, I get this error message in Chrome:
    Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
