Can't access my dashboard or support forums.

Fixed! Using Chrome- I cleared Browsing History, Download History and Cached Images from the beginning of time and Cookies from the last week, all fine. I suspect it’s just cookies from the last week that are required…
Thanks for the nudge crosseyedpianist :)

Here we go again with the blocking issue. I wish people would stop setting up wordpress blogs that depict child porn. I am all for stopping this (and WP, it’s not just that it’s too “racy”, it’s evil content), but the ISPs need to get a system in place that does not punish innocent users.

Alas, I cleared all history, cache etc. in Firefox. Very sad to see it go. Especially since it didn’t work. I also updated and then disabled my Virus Barrier Firewall. No joy there either. I’m relieved I can access wordpress via Safari but Firefox was the browser I had dedicated to wordpress.com.
Anyone succeed with Firefox who is also on BT?
-
Yes it worked for me. I cleared history in Firefox and can now access this forum and my blog. I am also on BT Peter

Congrats Vintage. Still can’t access dashboard. I get this:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.I shut down Mac and booted up again but not resolved. Any tips from anyone out there?
Thanks.

Here’s a shout to anyone still having issues with accessing the WP site, dashboard, etc. I reset my Firefox completely and it worked in just a few minutes. With Firefox State. It kept my bookmarks and other important stuff. Good luck!

this is a joke, takes ages to even access the forum pages….oh and by the way wordpress, it IS THURSDAY…so get back from your ‘internal projects’ and get to work resolving all our issues

Did you actually read what Staff linked to? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/dashboard-errors-related-to-talktalk-isp-issue?replies=5#post-1690016 -
I am having same recurrent problem, all browsers on current Mac. Starting to look horribly like a year ago, when there were a series of problems with UK ISPs. All this discussion is familiar. Can the folks who helped to resolve it last time get onto this so that it doesn’t take so long this time?
-
And advice to everyone — if this is like last time, there is absolutely no point calling your ISP, where you will be talking to people whose heads this is way above. This is an issue for WP to resolve with ISPs.

Thanks for the link as I’ve commented elsewhere about denial by TalkTalk support staff of their blocking!! (Would insert link but for dreadful delays in opening posts and drafts, saving and reviewing – got it > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/failure-to-access-dashboard?replies=9#post-1691370)

There must be a body of knowledge at WP about how this was handled last time. Please assure us that this is being used!

I contacted TalkTalk today and somehow my query turned into an investigation into my broadband connection, a totally unnecessary exercise. Whenever I speak to TT, they don’t seem to understand the issue. I was told my query would be escalated to errrr, the escalation department, but again, this manifested as an investigation into my broadband connection. It is extremely frustrating as they don’t seem to understand or care about what you are trying to explain. Please someone, take pity on us users caught in the middle of all this and intervene!

Hi, i was having exactly the same problems on IE with bt as my isp. The problem seems to have been rectified and i can only assume someone has been working away in the background, so it’s a big thank you from me.
-
Hate to alarm you, but it’s likely to come back. Problem last came came and went over weeks and this seems awfully similar. Right now, I have no access to my site. In 10 minutes I’ll probably get in.

I’m also in Scotland with Primus (Talk Talk) by any other name I think. Locked out from editing since yesterday. i surely do hope that someone at WP picks up on this/can resolve it as Primus are a nightmare.
I’m beginning to wonder if it’s best to switch ISP, does anyone know of and ISP unaffected by this? It seems a bit daft to just be patient if no-one anywhere is trying to sort this out.
