Can't access my own site

I have started a new blog where current privacy setting is set for ‘Private’. With that setting I am not able to view my blog, even though I am marked as ‘Owner’. When I try to access my blog’s url, I see screen with message:

“This site is marked private by its owner. If you would like to view it, you’ll need two things:

A WordPress.com account. Don’t have an account? All you need is an email address and password — register here!
Permission from the site owner. Once you’ve created an account, log in and revisit this screen to request an invite.
If you already have both of these, great!”

And then I can click on ‘Log in’ and I select (again) my username (who is the Owner of this blog) – but I end up on the same site with message that site is marked private.

What should I do to view my blog without making it Public?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi @kacperm7, if you are the site owner but the browser is not remembering that, there may be an issue with your browser settings. Can you check to be sure you’re not blocking cookies?

Also – could you please confirm the site address? I see a different site on this account.

Hi, issue solved – indeed it was blocked cookies case. I was misled because I checked on different browsers where main one uses AdBlock, but others don’t and the issue was reproducible.
    Thanks for help!
