Can't Access My Site

Hello,
For some reason, I cannot edit my site through Google Chrome or WordPress software; I cannot even access My Site to edit anything. I can only edit it through Microsoft Windows Explorer. I did not have this problem a few months ago and I am not sure how to fix it. Any solution?

Hi @msalehi2004, are you getting error messages when you try to edit the site? Or is it just a blank screen? If you get an error, can you send that?
If it’s not working across several browsers, can you check to see if you have any new security / ad-block features? Occasionally we’ll see one that’s over-aggressive, and I’m wondering if it’s that.

Thank you for your response. I see a blank white screen and no errors. It doesn’t appear that Google Chrome is blocking anything. I do not think my internet security program blocks it, too, because I don’t have this problem when I use Microsoft Edge.

Thanks for your response. I can’t see any error and Chrome does not show that it is blocking anything, too. When I try editing my site, all l I see is a blank white screen with the top standard WordPress tabs, i.e., “My Site”, “Reader”, and “Write”.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I could resolve the issue by signing out of my WordPress account and signing in again! I wonder why WordPress would not give me any error so that I know there is an authentication error.
