Can’t access my site
-
I established a domain ‘griffes.family’ on Feb 29th and received a verification. I then pressed the button for ‘start the trial’. Today, I logged into wordpress, and came to a window with a button to ‘create a site’. When I then chose my domain name, I got a message that said ‘the domain is already mapped to a wordpress.com site’.
How do I start to build my site?Self-declared URL: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Jetpack: Unknown
WP.com: UnknownThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You created the account douggriffes onlyva few minutes ago. It’s obvious your site is connected to another wordpress.com account. Log out from current douggriffes and log in again to the account owning your site.

I’m having the same problem! And I did that, but didn’t confirm via email link. When I went back to access it, it won’t let me. I’ve use the same email and password that I did before and still nothing, but that it’s associated with another account. What account?!! It’s like the webpage that I created is just floating in web space! Can I get some assistance?! I’ve already submitted three help tickets and yet receive any help.

@scervantes1979, I understand this situation might be stressful. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to fill out our Account Recovery form. It’s a step towards resolving this issue.
If you have transaction IDs from charges on your account, you can use them to prove ownership through the Account Recovery form. Once verified, WordPress.com support can step in to assist you further. Here’s the link to the form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Feel free to provide as much information as you can, including an email address where our Support team can reach you. The transaction IDs typically appear on your bank statement as “WordPress” followed by a ten-digit alphanumeric code, like this: “WordPress XXXXXXXXXX”.
For additional guidance on the account recovery process, please refer to this page: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Rest assured, if you’ve already submitted a form, our Account Recovery team is reviewing it with care. Your patience is truly appreciated during this time.
