Can't access my website after adding "www."

I noticed my website link only worked if the URL was “http://skee247.com” (hosted thru Tumblr). If I put in “http://www.skee247.com”, Tumblr would give me a “NOT FOUND” page.

So I figured it was something on the back end: I logged into my WordPress admin page (http://skee247.com/wp-admin), went in and added “www.” to the site’s URL in settings (I think it was the settings page, can’t remember exactly) and saved changes.

As soon as I hit “Save Changes”, I was directed to the Tumblr “NOT FOUND” splash page.

Now the website URL redirects to the NOT FOUND page so NO ONE can get to my site.

When I try to go to EITHER “http://skee247.com/wp-admin” ORRRR “http://www.skee247.com/wp-admin”, I’m always redirected to the NOT FOUND page.

What do I do? Could really use some help, not too savvy with websites. Thanks!

If you’re asking about a WordPress.com blog, www is never used in the web address.

If you’re asking about something other than a WordPress.com blog then you are asking in the wrong place!

I have the same problem and my blog is on wordpress.com. My web adress was http://www.intervencionorganizacional.com. Now I want my blog to point to that adress, and I have to skip the www. But all my contact details everywhere include www (flyers, business cards, etc,). is there any way I can keep the www?
    Thanks a lot!!
