Can't access old blog

  I had a blog a while back that was inactive. after a time i wanted to access the blog and pick up using it again but while I could view it as a reader I couldn’t manage it or post to it because I couldn’t sign in to wordpress, it didn’t recognize my email address or login. I set up a new account and started a new blog but I would like to be able to integrate the old one, or at least have it on my dashboard, so I can copy the old posts. I am still able to view it as a reader but that’s all.
