Can't access old blog

  I had a wordpress blog active up until 2009 that is somehow still coming up in google searches & I really want to delete it! My current (wordpress) site is shawnmoreton.com & the old one (that I want to delete) is https://shawnmoreton.wordpress.com/
  Unfortunately I can’t find any of the proof of ownership info that I would need to get access to the admin page.
  I can provide the likely email address it was created with but otherwise I am not sure how I can get this deleted!
  I stopped using the domain when I switched to a prophoto wordpress plugin back then, and my ‘new’ blog became a subdomain of my website: shawnmoreton.com/blog.
