Can't access page
-
I have not accessed my site in several months on WordPress but came in today to make some changes. My website is not linked to my log on any longer. I am very concerned! I did find it on the archive website listed in a different response but I do not know how to get that information back to my portal to attach it to my url. PLEASE HELP!

Hello again,
Nameservers:
NSG1.NAMEBRIGHTDNS.COM
NSG2.NAMEBRIGHTDNS.COMIt looks like your site is using name servers that aren’t associated with WordPress.com, where we are. Have you tried contacting your web hosting provider for assistance? If they say this is a WordPress problem, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Just to clarify, this support forum you’ve posted to assists users with free websites hosted on the WordPress.com platform. You can read more about these differences at https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

But I do not understand where my data is. Where is the page we created? Just because my site domain name was not active does not mean my profile on wordpress should have been deleted. When I log on and click My Site it tells me there is no site. I simply need to get my site back. I can sort out the host later but I at least need all of our website work we have invested into.

Do you know how my webpage could have been lost? I did find it on an archive website? Is it possible to retrieve it from there?

Hi @tallahasseeair2, what company were you paying for the site hosting and domain? I would recommend checking in with them first.
Your files and data should be with your host, assuming your account is in good standing. The domain may be with them too, or with a separate registrar, and it controls what host your site points to.
Between the two of them, you can likely sort this out. If you need more help with the software itself (you’ll need to regain access to hosting and the domain first) you’ll want to use the correct support resources for the free WordPress code, which is different from our service:
https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/#word-press-org-supportHoping this helps!
