Cant access the correct blog

I have two wordpress accounts but i can’t access the one i use, ‘just me and my mind’, instead its defaulting to one i used years ago on a different email address. when i reset the password its resetting for the old blog.
Please can you tell me what to do!
Even now, i’m logged in on the old account, it wont let me delete it or move it to the new blog and i’m a little confused and frustrated.
the correct url is debbiewillson.com (though i’ve paid for that domain it doesnt seem to be using it so debbiewillson.wordpress.comThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, but the average response time in an internet forum is 14 hours.
http://debbiewillson.com/ is an empty WordPress.com blog. Is that the one you want into? If I’m reading this right, you have two accounts but when you try to log in to that one it logs you into this one, right? What is the username on the other account?

I’m sorry, I haven’t posted here before, I wrongly thought it was monitored :/
My blog, Just me and my Mind is out there but this morning i went to it and it wont let me access it, this is the one i want.
My old blog was sp4rk1e.wordpress.com, username thebritishhomemaker.

Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.

We are having issues with our password reset tool. Developers are working on that now and should have it working soon. You can follow updates here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/lost-password-bug-cannot-log-in
When the tool works again, you can use the username (debbiewilson) or email address for the other account in the password reset tool and it should allow you to reset the password for that account. .

Thank you for the information here, I realise staff are very busy, I don’t know how this forum is used and I have no idea about the ticket system…. here, i’d assumed that fellow wordpress users all shared what knowledge they had, but as i said, I don’ t really know how this forum works so I really do apologise for being a pain today. The issue with the password reset tool has been resolved, and it should be working again.

It sounds like your browser is “remembering” you. To fix this, you first need to log out of WordPress.com completely. Once you’ve done that, you should clear your WordPress.com browser cookies:
Note: you don’t need to clear all cookies, just the WordPress.com ones.
Once you’ve done that, you should then be able to use your other username in the password reset form.

i done all you suggested, Jackie and it is still the same old account i’m being logged into, not the new one that i use.

Hmm, that’s strange.
Can you try a different browser, one you don’t usually use, and see if it works for you then?
If not, could you please list the steps you took to log in as debbiewilson or change your password in the new browser, and what happens when you do so?

ok the same thing is happening in firefox.
I am logging out of this account
signing back in with the correct email address of the other account
it then tells me it doesn’t recognise the password so i tried ‘resetting’ it
the reset email leads me right back to this acount.earlier i deleted the two blogs on this account that haven’t been used for a few years thinking it might help. i can see my current blog is up still. i have been back to former emails of comments left there and tried to gain access through that link but it takes me to this account again.
somewhere i’ve either messed up, been hacked or something is very wrong

I wonder if this may be the issue. What is the email address you’re using to log into the other account? (If you post the address here, only staff will be able to see it).

the new accounts email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
but it brings me to this account as though my other account just doesn’t exist

The email address you provided is associated with your thebritishhomemaker account. The debbiewilson account is using an email address with a .org suffix (though for security reasons I can’t provide more information than that).
Have you tried logging out of WordPress.com, clearing cookies, and then logging in with the username debbiewilson, not the email address? Or using that username, not an email address, in the password reset tool?
