Can't Access Theme
-
Hello:
My name is Olivia. I currently have an existing blog for which I purchased the Duet (Them Foundry) theme. I just created a new blog for my wedding website! However, I can’t figure out how to access my already purchased theme. I contacted Theme Foundry but they said that this is a WordPress question. Can you help? Thanks!
Olivia

I purchased the Duet (Them Foundry) theme.
This is the wordpress.COM support forum. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and you cannot upload any custom themes or third party themes, or create your own theme here at wordpress.COM, or use stylesheets from another theme. You can do those only on wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
Read: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/
There is no upgrade you can buy here that changes that.If your site remains hosted here at wordpress.COM and you purchased a third-party theme, then you will have to get a refund.
Alternatively, this guide will explain how to move your WordPress.com site to another hosting platform:
Moving to a Self-Hosted WordPress Site
https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
For a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

As you state below, I am looking for assistance on themes used on WordPress.com – the “Duet” theme by Theme Foundry. I already purchased it.. I didn’t purchase a third party theme. My previous blog is a WordPress blog – not a paid site.

P.S. it’s a Worpress.com site – I have never had a wordpress.org site. Can you help guide me?

Hey there,
Do you happen to have a different account than the one you contacted us from? The account that you are contacting us from does not have any theme or upgrade purchases associated with it.
Both the duet theme and the domain loveandolives.com are under a different WordPress.com account. If you can log into that account, you should be able to see the theme that you purchased.
Let me know if you have any questions or issues/ Thanks!
