Can’t access unpublished site

  Hello,

  I’ve taken over website management for my local volunteer neighborhood association. We have had our website through WordPress for many years and I’m trying to access content from there even though the site is no longer published through WordPress.

  I’m not longer able to log in with the https://www.marquette-neighborhood.org/wp-login login URL that the other members have previously used, but I’ve managed to access the account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).

  Now that I’m in the account, I don’t see any site. Instead, I only see ‘Create your first site.’ I need assistance accessing the now-unpublished site.

  2. WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.

  The message “Create your first site” appears because there are no WordPress.com hosted sites associated with the @mnawebmaster account you’re logged into. This is expected since your site is not hosted with us.

  I recommend contacting your hosting provider (Bluehost) for assistance with this issue. Since they host your site’s files, they have access to those files and are in the best position to help you regain login access to your site.
