Can’t access widgets to modify them in

Working on a site that is self hosted and has some custom sidebars set up that I need to modify the title for. For some reason when I go to the widget edit area under Appearance the individual widget areas will not iopen for editing and I can not drag or drop widget items on them either. I’ve tried turning off all the plugins but still can’t get in. Any suggestions or adivce for troubleshooting this would be greaty appreciated thank you.

If your site is self-hosted it was likely built with the open source version of WordPress and you might find the answer you’re looking for in those support forums:
