Cant access WordPress

  Hi,

  first thanks for helping. I downloaded WP, edited the wp-config according to my Hosts Database (I use Strato) and then uploaded the whole wordpress folder onto the server via Cyberduck. What I now see if I try to access the install.php through http://www.mydomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php or if I put it directly into the root through http://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php is my browser showing the placeholder site for nothing is yet uploaded onto this webspace. What am I doing wrong? I already dowloaded WP again, checked the config like 10 times, and deleted and uploaded everything various times. Any ideas? Many thanks in Advance

  You are posting to the wrong support forum. That site is not on wordpress.COM servers. We cannot help you here at all.

  This is wordpress.com support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
  (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

  Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
