Can't access wp-admin
-
I’m brand new to wordpress, and have been learning it for the last few weeks to make a site for a school business project. It’s been going well, though we noticed that when we tried to login to the admin page, it redirected us to our site’s login page, where we could login and somehow end up at the admin page. We weren’t sure why this happened, but it wasn’t a huge concern. Until yesterday, when I updated the homepage to be a countdown timer for the site’s launch, with no links to other pages. Now though, when we try to go to the wp-admin page, or login in at all, we’re redirected to the timer page, with no way to go to anything else. For reference we’re doing this on a local machine, with the site running on 127.0.0.1 etc.
We were hoping to have the site done in the next couple of days so this is quite the setback, and while we have a backup it’s a few days old, so we would like to avoid having to use that if possible
Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advanceThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
For reference we’re doing this on a local machine, with the site running on 127.0.0.1 etc.
Ah, sorry you’re having trouble. These forums are for the free sites using our managed hosting service, which can be quite different from running your own WordPress installation at another host.
You’ll likely get the most help contacting support for your plugin, though it could also be an issue with your localhost configuration. You could test by temporarily renaming the plugin folder to see if that changes things, or looking at headers to see what redirects are happening.
If you need more help, here’s a link to the correct forums for self-managed sites:
