Can’t Access WP Admin After Changing URL

  Followed terrible instructions for changing domain name and now I can’t access WP admin. Can someone help me regain access?

  It seems like this domain is not registered yet.

  Every WordPress.com website will give you the admin page, if you type wp-admin after the site URL. Like this: https://sincerelyanisah.com/wp-admin

  For you nothing shows up.

  Make sure you are not using the self-hosted version of WordPress, often referred to as WordPress.org.

  Maybe your site is still on your old domain? I can check that out too.

  Your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another host – the option you refer to doesn’t exist on WordPress.com sites.

  Changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like yours has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.
