Can't Activate Gateway Theme–Please Help!

  I tried to activate the Gateway Theme and it said it couldn’t activate it and to contact Support. So–Support…what’s the issue? Please suggest how to troubleshoot. Thanks :)

  Hi there,

  Our records show that your site, lisawrichdesigns.wordpress.com was switched to the Gateway theme two weeks ago and it remains the active theme. Since the theme is already active we can’t activate for a second time which produced the error.

  Thank you for the response. Why doesn’t the home page show the same format, with the three sections etc?

  Hey there,

  Your site is set to Private so I cannot take a direct look and compare yours against the demo site here: https://gatewaydemo.wordpress.com/.

  However, from an outside point of view it sounds like you may need to set up your site accordingly in order for it to display the way you want it to.

  For further information on your themes set up so it can closer match the demo please refer to following set up docs: https://wordpress.com/theme/gateway. For information specific to the three sections refer to the Featured Content heading.

  If I am incorrect in my assumptions we may have to call for the attention of staff once more to access your site to take a closer look.
