  Can’t activate My blog with my telephone number because it is changed

  Hi there!

  If your number’s changed then you’ll need to disable and then reenable Two Step Authentication on your account.

  If you’re logged into your account, firstly head to the Security page under your Personal Settings:
  https://wordpress.com/me/security

  From here, click the ‘Generate Backup Codes’ button and then disable Two Step Authentication on that page. You can then reenable as per our guide here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#setup-with-sms-codes
