Can't activate the grid option in the Goran Theme.

Now way i can activate the option grid inside customization. I just can’t see this option. Am i doing something wrong?

Hi Marco,
It looks like you have taken several of the steps required to activate the Grid style, however you will need to go to your Dashboard and then Pages >> All Pages and edit the Home page which you have set as the front page of your site.
On the right hand side of the screen you’ll see a section where you can set the Template for this page. Currently it’s set to Default, and you need to change it to “Grid.” Once you do, republish the page (press “Update”) and the changes should be live!

i saw that option, and i enabled it on the home page and also another page, but it still don’t work. I tried changing template, but no grid is showed.
I must have enabled some option that blocks the grid visualization. -
I’m sure you went through it but just in case…
If you set a page to use the Home Page template you need to specify the 3 pages to display in the grid. Use Appearance -> Customize -> Theme options. If using the Grid Page template the page must have children (other pages must have this page listed as the parent). All of it only displays if the width of your browser is at least 1020 pixels. At less than 1020 px the “grid” is stacked.

Nice tip, it’s working, i never setup children pages. Now i see the pictures (i’ve changed address now it’s portoni.wordpress.com) in grid style but how do i position a bit of text under the images?

The image in the grid comes from the featured image of the child page(s). The text in the grid will either be the first few lines in the body of the page or from the “excerpt”. You may have to use the down arrow to expand the excerpt field. I recommend using excerpt so that you can better control what and how much is displayed in the grid.
