Can’t activate/update my theme or upgrade

  Hello – WHen I click ‘Activate theme’ on the basic free themes, I get a notification ‘Couldn’t activate theme. Contact support.’ Also, I can’t upgrade to the $8/mo plan for freelancers. The button to upgrade isn’t there.

  Hi @christinamzimmer, this means you had a Business site that was not properly downgraded.

  Right now the site has code from outside sources, but no Business Plan to support it. If we downgrade again you will lose your plugins, may lose your theme, and may even lose content you’ve added since adding plugins.

  Given that, would you like us to go ahead and revert to a free site for you so you can switch themes?
