Can't add a coded button to my sidebar widget

    I have signed up to AMAZINE – a website that allows you to collate your own lifestyle magazine (similar to Pintrest except you can write more). It gives the option to add a button (a button that says “go visit my mag” onto your blog – which I usually do with no problems, as a widget. However, when I insert the code, it doesn’t seem to show up. These are the instructions given:

    Insert the Button Link

    Paste the following link where you want the button to appear:

    Load the Javascript

    Insert this line of code right before the closing </BODY> tag:
    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://amazine.com/scripts/widget.js”></script>

    Can you please help? I read that WordPress does not allow javascript – but this is just a button, nothing dangerous. PLEASE HELP!!
