Can't add a link to my Gravatar profile

I followed the steps described here, but the added link to my blog won’t show up on the profile ( http://gravatar.com/cosgroveloretta ). I emptied the cache, tried different browsers (the newest Chrome & Firefox versions) – always the same result. I get a little frustrated, to be honest :(
Any hint what I could try?

First, please do not bump your post; It actually makes it more difficult for us to find it, since a lot of us tend to look for threads without replies. If a significant period of time goes by (more than a couple of days) without a response, feel free to post it again as a separate topic.
Second, those instructions are out of date. You now change the link by editing your profile (just click your gravatar in the top right corner of the screen, and it will take you to the screen to edit your profile.)

Thanks for the info! But in my search for a way to add a link to my main blog to my gravatar profile I already tried it via my account settings – no success. That’s what my profile info looks like minus my email address): http://elektrobuchwurm.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/gravatar-links1.gif

But this is exactly what’s NOT working for me… *cries*
I followed directions from WordPress’ help section, Gravatar’s help section, and whatever I do, the link refuses to show up in my Gravatar profile. Just as if Gravatar hates me… *sobs*

There’s no reason to get upset. Sometimes technology doesn’t work the way we expect it to.
Can you post a picture of where you expect the link to show up, just so I can make sure I’m understanding you correctly?

Oh, I’m not upset, just a little frustrated since I try to solve this problem for some weeks now. And I’m very glad for your help, just in case it doesn’t look like it :)

No worries. I tend to read to much into things like *cries* and *sobs*. :)
The reason I ask is that the first image you showed was of your WordPress.com profile, not your Gravatar profile, which, though connected, are separate.
I’m not quite sure why it’s working for me and not for you. It could be a weird issue with your gravatar account. At this point, I’d wait until 8th May when the Gravatar’s support contact form is back up and contact them directly.

Have you considered linking your WordPress>COM username to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog, rather than that commercial site? -
Is that what’s holding it up? I honestly hadn’t thought about what site my profile was linked to. I just removed the link, though it seems to me my answers were still valid (not like I was advising that users switch to a different service or anything).

I bet my Gravatar profile will miraculously show the link on the 7th *gg* So yes, if there’s no trick or tweak I’ll have to wait for their support. But thanks a lot for your patience with my crying and sobbing :-* -
Okay. No worries. It just seemed like you were answering all of the threads I’ve answered today after I’ve already answered them. (obviously if there’s information to add, you should definitely do so, but it seems to be your time might be better spent answering other questions that haven’t been answered yet).

Be aware that we can click the “member” link under both your WordPress.com username and mine and see exactly how many threads you answered and note I did not answer them as well. -
What you see at http://elektrobuchwurm.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/gravatar-links1.gif is not what controls the links at http://en.gravatar.com/cosgroveloretta

@thistimethisspace I’m not trying to cause a ruckus (and I was exaggerating when I said all my threads). I was just more worried that my posts weren’t being seen by the OP.
