Can't add an image to my post

Hi,
I have now Googled and read in your forums how to add an image to a post, but I can’t find the image-button on my view. I can create a gallery, but what if I just want to add a single picture? Or e.g. want to add a picture in the beginning of the post and also in the end, then I can’t use the gallery either.
I have tried to delete history and cookies from the computer, but it still doesn’t work. I can see that the language is 50% Danish and 50% English. Is the button maybe hidden because I’m working in the Danish version?

Hi,
You want to add picture on your post by using HTML part that available body on the blog post. Here you simply add HTML tag, where you want to add image.

if you use the gallery option to add a photo, it doesn’t allow you to move the photo and will left justify it, even if you move it with the center justify button. And I can’t seem to get back to view the gallery to use pictures I’ve already uploaded. The old way was so much easier, not sure why they changed this.

Hey there– some recent changes to the interface made adding images to posts difficult through the new post button on WordPress.com, but you can access the old editor a different way. Go to your blog’s dashboard and then click posts>add new. You’ll see the add media button and all the tools you need to publish a full post.
