Can’t add categories (also, option to use code is not available

  Hi,
  When I write a post, I don’t have the option to add new categories any longer. I also don’t have the option to write the post in either code or plain text view. I just have the plain text view interface without any icons bar for the code.
  Anybody experiencing the same problems?

  Best bet would be to turn the ‘visual editor’ back on as it sometimes drops off. Go to your Admin => Users => Profile and click the ‘visual editor’ box and save. Then you might have to reload your browser and/or clear your browser cache.

  Hi,
  Actually the “visual editor” box was checked. However, I went through the process of unchecking and checking the box, emptying the cache, but it did not work alas. Any other idea?

  I would then send in a feedback on Monday to support (as they are closed right now), but in the meantime, can you add categories through your Admin => Manage => Categories?
