Can't add "Featured Image" from WP gallery

The new version doessn’t let me add the images to “Featured Image” from my WP gallery…it only let me uploading them from my PC.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This has been reported on the main thread for the new editor and they’re working on it. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/beep-beep-boop-screen-is-a-joke-is-this-a-glitch/page/13?replies=365#post-1996167
In the meantime I’d recommend you use the dashboard editor instead. From your dashboard, click on Posts ->Add New for new posts and Posts ->All Posts to edit existing posts and add your featured images there.
