Can't add featured image to slider and Youtube videos can't be added

I’m having trouble with everything this morning and hope it’s just because you haven’t worked the bugs out of your updates.
Youtube videos are very important to my italian movie blog but I can’t add them anymore. I have a slider for featured images but there isn’t anyway to add them now.
Actually, no updates are working.
And no spell check? I need spell check. This is not going to work for me if it stays like this. I will have to move.

Regarding the YouTube videos, were you able to get that sorted out? It looks like Raincoaster helped you here:

The YouTube embed is working on my side both in the new editor and through wp-admin. You can actually just simply paste the URL on a line by itself. Can you give that a try?
I have a slider for featured images but there isn’t anyway to add them now.
Currently, it isn’t possible to select a featured image from your Media Library through the new editor (only to upload new ones). That’s a feature we’re actively working on at the moment.
And no spell check? I need spell check.
We hear you! Quite a few users have expressed that sentiment. It’s on our list of internal improvements to make!

Thanks but I am just getting to the old style through the dashboard. Hoping the new stuff will get the bugs worked out but in the meantime, not a fan!

Thanks for your input! Just a note, we added a notice on the top of the new editor with a link that feeds you back into your Dashboard. Feel free to use that to get back to the Dashboard editor!
