Can't add "follow" or other widgets to my blog

  Hi,

  I am new to wordpress.com and may be doing something wrong. I am trying to add widgets to my blog (like “follow” and “about me” to name a few examples) with no luck. I am going to Appearances and then to Widgets, moving the widget over to the sidebar, clicking the appropriate info, clicking “save” and then “close” but nothing shows up on my blog.

  Can someone help me with this?

  Hi there,

  It looks like with Blissful Blog you have the option of full-page or two column; with full-page, you don’t have “room” for the widgets, so they’re just not showing up.

  You can change this by going to your pages in Edit mode and selecting “Default template” instead of “full-width” under Page Attributes (should be default).

  But it looks like your homepage is always full-width, in which case, you should move those widgets to one fo the footer widget areas on your Widget page.
