Can't add links or go into text mode

Tonight I discovered that I can’t hyperlink anything – when I highlight and then click the link – the box to add the link doesn’t not pop-up. I also can’t click over to text mode. Help! I’ve already cleared my cookies and cache and tried switching to a different computer with the same results. I can’t work my blog until this gets resolved.

Same symptoms here around same time. Can’t hyperlink, can’t get into text mode.
One additional symptom to report: Daily Motion videos showing up as hyperlinks instead of embedded video. Old posts fine, DailyMotion problem is with new posts only. Example post:
About halfway down the post is this DailyMotion link. It’s correctly entered in the post with no formatting, so it should embed. But instead it shows up as a link:
The link is good and resolves to the actual video, but it should be embedded.
