Can't add menu items
-
Hello,
I’ve been trying to follow all the help videos and articles about creating a menu, but what I see on my screen is different from what’s in the videos. I only have two options for pages to add: About and Contact Us. I already have both of those. I need to add another tab. I tried adding another About tab and simply changing the name, but it also copies the About content from the original About tab. How do I add a tab that’s not About or Contact Us?
Thanks!

Stop watching those videos and reading those articles. Obviously they do not apply to your blog; that is because they are talking about WordPress.ORG blogs, not WordPress.COM blogs.
Instructions for WP.com blogs are found in the Support docs and the forums here http://support.wordpress.com/. Just do a search for whatever you want.
You want to create a Static Page. Title it whatever you want.

creating a menu … How do I add a tab that’s not About or Contact Us?
You can create as many static Pages as you like first. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ You can then create a custom menu and add them into it.

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.
