Cant add my bluehost website

  I am a total beginner to all of this! And i have hit a stumbling block at the first hurdle!
  I have my bluehost site and appear to be using wordpress on it for my site. Yet when i try and add it to my wordpress app it doesnt connect. It asks me for a username and password aa well as my site and this doesnt appear to be working.

  Any ideas please??

  hi,

  To add you Bluehost WordPress site to WordPress.com app, you need:
  1. a WordPress.com user account.
  Note that this is distinct from your Bluehost WordPress user account.
  2. install the Jetpack plugin on you Bluehost WordPress site.

  Hi there,

  While connecting to the mobile app using Jetpack and your WordPress.com login information is one of the easiest ways to get started with the mobile app, it is not required.

  For sites not using Jetpack, select the “Add Self-Hosted Site” and enter your WordPress login information, this is what you use when you log in to WP-Admin at your site.
