Can’t add myself as user

  A friend asked me to take over his organization’s blog as administrator. I can log on and change stuff but I can’t add me as administrator. When I try I get this message

  That email address does not belong to any user here.

  Where is “here”? I’ve have had two wordpress blogs for a couple of years.

  Hmm I cant help you their. The only think I can tell you is that your not an admin

  Since its your friends blog, maybe you should have him add you. Hope this helps.

  I’m not an admin of this blog — that’s what I’m trying to do. I’m an admin of two others, but the system can’t know that because I’m logged onto this blog with the username password of the blog (my friend), so it must think I am him and it’s him trying to add me.
