Can't add numeric tags via TAG editor

    wordpress TAGS bug on hosted wordpress.com

    The TAGS editor won’t save numeric tags such as 2015.
    It will create the tag (in the editor) but when publishing, then viewing the post, the tag is not there.
    When leaving the post editor page and then returning to the editor, the tag is not there either.
    If I switch back to the classic editor, it will allow numeric tags.

    I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

    Be aware that we provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you are not referring to a WordPress.COM hosted blog we cannot help you. So if that is the case then and you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

    Yeah, I have the same problem, and made a post about it here:

    The problem seems to be with the new design, since when I revert to the old one, it works…
