Can’t add or modify domains

I’m attempting to add a domain to our blog but however I try to do it, either through the Settings/Domains or the Upgrades/Domains Dashboard menu items, it won’t let me. I can get to the page that lists the domains and provides a form to add a new one, but once I push the ‘Add domain to blog’ button the page I get back is effectively blank. It’s not entirely blank, there is a dashboard menu and there is a title ‘Domains’ but there is no content, no way to go further. Also if I push the ‘Update Primary Domain’ button I get back a truly blank page.
A couple of notes:
1. I am an administrator on the blog, but I did not create the blog. I’m not sure if this is relevant or not. I have had the blog creator try to add the domain and he reports the same exact result.
2. The domain I am attempting to add is a sub-domain board.squeak.org which is a CNAME for squeakboard.wordpress.com . I control the squeak.org domain name.

The site linked to your name is not a WordPress.com blog. If you have a wordpress.com blog, did you purchase the domain upgrade?

Sorry, the blog is squeakboard.wordpress.com . How do I go about purchasing a domain upgrade? If I go to the Upgrades section of the dashboard I don’t see any item listed that relates to domains. If I go to the Domains tab of this page that is the same result as clicking the Upgrades/Domains menu item and gives me the same result I described above.

There appears to be no current method for “upgrading” or purchasing credits to be applied to the use of our own domain names. The ability to purchase credits (for the use of a specific domain name) is not available under the “upgrade”, “tools’, “settings”, etc.
The only aspect I have found is that I can begin the process of assigning my domain name (with my registrar) to my wordpress blog but it still only mentions purchasing credits on PayPal (on the wordpress site) but does not allow us to synch anything up – such as purchase, then enter in the domain name we want to use.
Please advise. Thanks!

Having completed domain mapping on three wp.com blogs over the last years using domains bought from a different registrar I can’t say I’ve experienced your troubles.
Did you follow the exact steps here?
