Can't add plugins or Google Analytics to Twenty Twelve template
-
Hello,
In every tutorial for Google Analytics for WordPress that I see, there are 2 ways of adding the Google Analytics code:
– by a wordpress plugin
– by manually adding the code on the Appearances > Editor > header.phpUnfortunately there is no Plugin tab on my control panel and no option “Editor” under Appearances, so I really don’t have any ideas on how to add my Google Analytics code.
Besides, on the html editing mode for each page, I can’t find the </head> code where I’m supposed to put the GA code nearby.
Please help…
Thank you

Every tutorial you have watched is talking about a completely different kind of WordPress, so stop watching them.
You cannot use Google Analytics. You cannot install plugins.
You have a WordPress.com blog, not a WordPress.org blog. WP.com blogs are a turnkey blogging solution that are not individually configurable the way WP.org blogs are.

Thank you for your reply, I wasn’t aware that there were 2 different kind of blog solutions for wordpress, .org and .com. I wonder if it’d be possible to turn my non-plugin and non-GA into a .org blog?
